The TI-Nspire Touchpad is a graphing calculator released in 2010 by Texas Instruments as a successor to the revolutionary TI-Nspire Clickpad from 2007. The Nspire Touchpad features the new operating system that TI first shipped with the original Nspire Clickpad that was a radical departure from TI's previous calculator operating systems with a new document based ecosystem and less of a focus on programming (even though OS 3.0 introduced Lua programming).
The TI-Nspire Touchpad keeps the Clickpad's removable keyboard and basic design while also adding in hardware to add a rechargable battery pack that goes on the back of the calculator as an alternative to using AAA batteries and a new touch sensitive clickpad on the keyboard, which can be placed onto a Clickpad model if it has an up to date operating system.
I own a single example of this calculator.
This calculator is in good working condition. It is a non-CAS model with a white and black colour scheme. I obtained it December 27th, 2023 after importing it from Germany. It runs the latest version of OS 3.9 and was manufactured April 2010. The touchpad that came with this calculator has the serial number 2205008330 and was also manufactured April 2010. It also has a rechargable lithium ion battery manufactured June 2011.
