The CFX-9850GC PLUS is a graphing calculator released by Casio in 1996. Its standout feature is the colour LCD display that can show orange, blue and green. It does not use colour subpixels and I'm not sure how it works but the screen looks incredibly crisp when the contrast is set right. It also has a link port for linking with other graphing calculators and the Casio Data Analyzer. It features Casio BASIC, a tokenised programming language, which can be used to automate tasks on the calculator and has 64 kilobytes of user memory.
I own a single example of this calculator which is in working condition with the clip case.
This calculator is in okay condition with a couple of scuffs. It runs ROM 1.0 and I acquired it November 20th, 2023. The buttons are okay. The concave shape of the calculator makes it uncomfortable to hold however.
